Dante and Madi met eleven years ago performing in the Nutcracker together at Joffrey Ballet School in New York City. They had their first date at a coffee shop in between rehearsals that lasted over three hours.

On Christmas Eve eve that same year, they had their first kiss down at the San Francisco pier just under the Bay Bridge.

After that, they became inseparable. Madi would commute to Brooklyn to spend nights with Dante cooking together, and Dante would commute to the Upper East Side to spend evenings with Madi and her roommates.

No matter where life took them, to Chicago, Washington D.C. and finally to San Francisco, through career changes and more, they stuck together.

In late August 2022, the couple took a romantic trip through Italy. On their first evening in Rome, Dante took Madi up to the beautiful park, Villa Borghese, with a view of the entire city. It was here that he got down on one knee and asked Madi to marry him.

The couple has now called San Francisco home for the past eight years. They spend most of their days together cooking new recipes, trying new restaurants and wine bars, caring for their bunny Poppy, playing video games together, and taking long rides on their Vespa through the city.

Their love continues to grow for each other every day and they can’t wait to take their next step in spending the rest of their lives together!
